Well said Colin. From the slideshow: "In 1963 he was arrested and convicted of conspiring to overthrow the government, and was sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment ..." I suppose this is his only "achievement". I'm glad that JZ doesn't own 2/3rds of me, and I'm glad I didn't vote ANC. JZ, may your stay as president be as uncomfortable as all the valid fraud charges against you.
Janet Sebolaai 08/05/2009 15:11 Comment 13

Amhlope Zuluboy you made the nation proud and you are a shining example to political democracy. Rememember the voters promises as you enter the office and especially the AIDS pandemic and current credit crunch.
Dikosha Phihlela 08/05/2009 16:11 Comment 38
To Colin & Ravi It is time you realize the people of South Africa have made their defining choice and re-elected the ANC to govern for the next five years. I am an engineering proffessional, and I command you to respect my choice of the ANC. The world will see that we, Africans, have taken charge. The next step is to take over the banking system the continues to prohibit blacks from helping the ANC government to deliver to our people. Ravi & Colin, Zille cannot stop Zuma!! WAKEUP, Zuma is the PRESIDENT!!!! Australia is cutting down on migration permits. VIVA MSHOLOZI, AMANDLA-NESS!
samsam 08/05/2009 16:11 Comment 39

Billy Hill 08/05/2009 16:20 Comment 41
It's wonderful that the people of South Africa elected a man truly of the people as our President, despite all attempts to discredit him. His struggle credentials are impeccable and this is excellent recognition for the huge role he played in liberating us from the apartheid oppressors. Those disgruntled whites who are unable to accept the changes that have been wrought, and are unable to integrate into the new society in this great country of ours need to get with the program. They've been given every opportunity to. They need to realize their whinging creates far more damage than ANYTHING they accuse our government and elected leaders of. If a day of reckoning for them does come around, they should be fully aware of the role they played in bringing it upon themselves.
samsam 08/05/2009 16:29 Comment 42

here is the choice of the voice of the voiceless the of the faceless comrade JZ. We the people of south africa envested our trust in you and your team, today as we are speaking millions of our people are still staying in the shacks while few are having mansions in the suburbs, thanks to cde TM, let me remind JZ that what ever happened in limpopo in december 2007 can still happen to him if he turns to forget the poor people of this country. thatha msholozi thatha
Bonga 08/05/2009 16:42 Comment 45
Like everytime when a "new" administration is about to assume, doubts will forever be there. A good leader can be found through having some of the people who were doubting him actually having a change of mind and opinion. Keep your promises, yes all!
Muntu Elliot Khanyile 08/05/2009 16:54 Comment 46
You are not just a South african leader...but a african Continent leader.you are highest strongest african plant wich its roots has grown and reached our sorounding Continents and Islands of this world, bayede!!
Sello 08/05/2009 16:54 Comment 47
To Ravi&colin. My Mother was a kitchine girl and my father a garden boy, that is why i am not educated to understand your comments about JZ. if you don`t like him that much, now that he is the president what are you going to do. let me guess, you will leave this country. do so , because if you stay he will be your president with or without your approval.somethings are beyond your control.
QCP 08/05/2009 16:58 Comment 48
Can't we just all give JZ a fare oppurtinity to proove himself to be worthy of this huge responsibility? After all we are one country and one people.
Sello 08/05/2009 17:09 Comment 49
QCP,He is going to get his fare opportunity whether Ravi&Colin likes it or not.they won`t change anything. its time up.
