Great pictures, it seemed very festive in pta. Just a bit on the production site: the slideshow is very fast- we don't get time to read the captions therefore we lose out on the sub-text, perhpas if you can slow it down just a tad? The soundtrack is good but it takes over from the pictures. They are not running parallel. Moreover the song speaks about the ANC and how people should work for it. Yes the ANC won but the inauguration is about the president of SA and our nation as a whole. Hope you get where I'm coming from and you see my comments as constructive... great work once again.

If there is something i'm going to comment this is what i will qoute as per our President say; Madiba healed our wounds and established the rainbow nation very firmly. He set us on the path of nation building and prosperity and made us a respected member of the world community of nations. He taught us that all South Africans have equal claim to this country, and that there can be no lasting peace unless all of us, black and white, learned to live together in harmony and peace. To achieve all our goals, we must hold ourselves to the highest standards of service, probity and integrity. Together we must build a society that prizes excellence and rewards effort, which shuns laziness and incompetence. We are now called upon to implement our Manifesto. The dreams and hopes of all the people of our country must be fulfilled. There is no place for complacency, no place for cynicism, no place for excuses. So our beautiful South African why can't we start now to make this country more beautiful, peaceful, wonderful and a better place to live in, it is us that need to do it not only politician not only an individual, not only our president but all of us WE CAN DO IT." with all the love".
Nkululeko Vellem 09/05/2009 17:38 Comment 5
Individuals are shaped also by their own experiences in struggle. In the ANC, one of the positive qualities has been to unite various strands of political experience. Historically, this finds expression in the form of those who, before 1990, were "mainly" in prison, in exile, in MDM formations, in professional work and in broad patriotic front organisations. This may include some capable members who may not have been at the forefront of the struggle but have joined the ANC in the 1990s and are making an invaluable contribution in the new phase of the NDR cde President Zuma epitomises all the above.

I think resilience is one of the virtues Jacob Zuma has in abundance. This verse about Jacob in the Bible just sums up everything about Jacob Zuma. Jacob refused to move and told God at one stage that I will not move until you bless me. His father Isaac said to Jacob in Genesis 27:29 Let peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you Be master of your brethren, And let your mother's sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, And blessed be the ones who bless you!"...Need I say more? I will continue to keep him in my prayers for the tough job ahead of leading our beautiful country.

Enemies of the country nearly robbed us of a good leader. It shows that you can't put a good man down when God's finger has pointed him. These people who tried to stop our president are a disgrace to our nation. I hope the nation will stand behind honest people who want to get to the bottom of all these problems and expose the real controversial dealings.

Well, it has been a long fought road to victory.Congratulations Pres.JZ.!However, I am ANC member though still serving on grassroots level.South Africa does not need leaders like Julius Malema-stop picking on TM.He is no more a Pres.whether he is smiling or not it is up to him.Let bygones be bygones.Whether throughout this there was conspirancy, now not time for that it is time for nation building.Crime,education,work/employment,combat HIV/AIDS-Please rich south africans must help to cut this high rate of unemployment Mr Sol Kerzner has started.Forget the rest!! And lastly we must pray.Be united both Black and White. We all need well run RSA for our children. Mpondomise

I agree that rain is a blessing... For all of you who are negative, unfotunately you will find what you are looking for, not only in politics but in your life as a whole because that is your frame of reference. For those of us who are hopeful, let's not allow anyone to crush our spirit and our collective strength to empower those who still lack basic needs. Change begins with me, it is not out there and someone else's responsibility. Every success my President Zuma!!

Do you people smoke illegal substances or were you dropped on your heads as babies. JZ has flexible morals and no scruples, He now holds the highest office in the country... power corrupts even the most honourable of men. Just imagine how quickly it corrupts one whose past actions are already corrupt. For your sake I implore all South Africans to speak out and act out each time him and his cronies bend the laws. Your Silence will be their weapon(quiet diplomacy helped Mugabe to kill Zimbabwe)Don't let that happen to MY home!!!

It saddens to note comments such as we are heading for banana republic. I suggest such people harbouring such pessimistic wishes go to Australia. It is a wish of all south africans that we all work together to shape our country to what we define as better irrespective of political allegiance or hatred that people have on President Zuma. South Africa belongs to us.

The south african culture has outshined around the world, people have seen it all. a man that has faced presicution in merits and have been in and out of courts, is the very same man that today is on the top seat in land. in all this as a proud south african i haved learned that no matter what they say you should always be the one that has the last say.
