zille shows that she use minority of black people and now she shows her true colours, that she is a recist. she must understand that we are coming from far with this democracy may be she don't know about blacks, may be she only read from the papers.

Phindile 14/05/2009 08:44 Comment 5
ZILLE MUST STOP TALKING AND START DELIVERING. WE ARE TIRED OF HER WAR WITH PRESIDENT ZUMA. ZUMA IS THE ELECTED PRESIDENT OF S.A. LET US ALL GIVE HIM A CHANCE AND ALSO HELP IN BUILDING OUR COUNTRY
ashk 14/05/2009 09:56 Comment 6
The country is full of anti-white racism.
Eric Poloko Mosimanegape 14/05/2009 10:11 Comment 7
i am not suprised by the conduct of Zille,it shows her deep hatred for His Excellency Jacob Zuma and the black people and their culture, ask her why she didnt appoint Joe Seremane for a cabinet post?Zille wont deliver anything to the black man, they will only use us as bait for a vote and thereafter spit on our faces.Western Cape, beware of this Racist, white only party of Helen Zille.
Kungeka Zweni 14/05/2009 10:13 Comment 8
Thats amazing how the rulling party reacts on Zille. This was done by their Previous premier Roussow but nothing was said.Even this thing of female premiers its just buying faces although their deputys were arrogant men to push them out before their term is finished look what happen to Nosimo so if Zille felt that this is the best let it be.
Zukiswa Mtulu 14/05/2009 10:13 Comment 9
What Zille has said about Jacob Zuma is a fact, his sleeping with an HIV+ woman has put his wives at risk of contracting the virus.Millions of South Africans are infected/affected by this deadly virus. It is the responsibility of our leaders to address such issues but somehow Zuma supporters think that its a personal on their president.Attacking some 1 for addressing issues that are facing South Africa is down right stupid.
Charles 14/05/2009 10:53 Comment 10
I feel that Zille is up to Apartheid revolution, she has done nothing but to insult and humilate President Zuma, whats' next on her agenda that "Zuma must be called off"
50cents 14/05/2009 11:27 Comment 11
Don't you guys have any other tune to sing except Zille is a racist that wants to bring back apartheid. Clearly you guys don't know your history. She fought against apartheid. Just because she thinks JZ and the ANC are bad news doesn't make her racist. In fact I think its the other way around. She sees passed the colour of people's skin...the ANC and its supporters cannot. Also she is doing her job...she made on comment. You guys are making it sound like she does nothing but sit at her desk and thinks of material to say against the ANC...its not that hard to do as the ANC and JZ has made it so easy to say the truth about them(which is mostly negative).
FOFO 14/05/2009 11:41 Comment 12
the country does not need all these..both zille and anc must not take their eyes off the ball people have spoke madam zille its time for delivery the people of the western cape are waiting,so is the rest of the country waiting for the ANC please just get your butts of those chairs and start to deliver.
Recato Cristiano Eberwein 14/05/2009 12:27 Comment 13
All bow down to the red terror. VIVA SACP! All bow down to the President Comrade Jacob Zuma! We will rule until Jesus comes. The sooner those non-believers get to grip with this fact the better. The ANC is the only party for the people. Kom aan julle wit mense. Kom by. Of verlaat my land. And please then take Steve Hofmeyer with. VIVA ANC. VIVA Comrade Malema! Mother Winnie you are a true South African Woman. Bow down to my saviour, Comrade President Jacob Zuma! Amandla! Dr. Mulder is the most clever white person in this country. Well the other one is me!!!
Ramatjedi 14/05/2009 12:29 Comment 14
The overzealous Zille is taking the country back to the oxwangon mentality of her apartheid forebears. Uncle Joe ur being treated like a typical BEE front to legitimise a white interest business.
Patric 14/05/2009 12:30 Comment 15
i think the media is wrong to select parts of her letter. because i understand that the letter was also questioning the release of Mbete from being the woman deputy president. look @ the presidency, there's four very powerful men and not one single woman, President, Dep. President, Trevor Manuel and Collins Chabane and yet they accuse Zille. one finger pointing @ zille and three fingers @ them (ANC)
Recato Cristiano Eberwein 14/05/2009 12:37 Comment 16
Eric you really dont have a clue what the Premier Helen Zille has done in the fight against Apartheid. I suggest you go and read up before you make comments that is totally stupid. That been said the Premier does have a problem with my President. And she must better quickly get with the show. Bow down to the saviour South Africa has been waiting for since Union was announced in 1910. Comrade President Jacob Zuma!! Viva Mbete, Viva Mbeki, Viva my MP Minister Hogan, Viva SACP, Viva my goddess the late Brenda Fassie!!

I'm not Msholozi's Fan but Madam Zille must take it easy, Msholozi now is our President and i think she must give him dignity that he deserve. the only thing she must do she must deliver.

I am not against her fighting for the democratic rights of all South Africans. She says it like it is and JZ must be a man enough to take critisim. Does'nt mean he is the president he cannot be touched or critised. He has done it to Mbheki, so take it as a man. She is talking the truth afterall. JZ has his change now, please dont turn SA into Zimbabwe.
Youth 14/05/2009 14:53 Comment 22
I think we are now used to such attacks in South Africa, well former SA president was insulted or criticized many times and he took the punch. The worst part ANC t-shirts with Mbeki's head were burnt can someone explain the difference between the two. Let Zuma walk on the path he pave for himself-how do sleep with HIV positive woman and biological expect the virus to go away after taking a shower.
Sibusiso Dlungwana 14/05/2009 15:38 Comment 23
We forgave the whites who put us through hell of apartheid.and we hold hands and live in harmony because we accepts that they have changed..Zuma apologized and met with the AIDS and women right groups to apologize..why cant Zille forgive him..we black people forgave white people..that is why we do not scream racism every time..white people must move on Mr Zuma apologized and we forgave just like we forgave you...

"Useless men" - Malema 15/05/2009 03:18 Comment 27
Julius Malema's sexist attack on Hellen Zille and her choice of heavy weights is downright an attack on competence. He should consider using his communist fame to raise money for the poor or something & show his fellow Africans that he also knows what is right. Malema you shouldn't be driving a car let alone the ANCYL. Good luck my China.

It's so nice to see people like Sibusiso, Phumla and Andile talking some sense, and just so very sad to read the verbal diaorea from Eric. Since when is Zuma "His Excellency"? That phrase is reserved for kings. Like King Mswati, not herder boy Zuma. The sooner we all become colourblind and fight (and vote) for the best of the whole region, not only the country, the sooner we can shake the stigma of a third-world country off. Wake up, people, the struggle is past, you cannot keep on blaming apartheid for what is happening now. Look at the DRC, history will repeat itself, the people of the DRC at this stage cannot blame the French and Belgiums anymore, the non-existent roads, the war with Ruanda and Burundi, the extreme poverty of the people while they have one of the richest countries in the world, is NOT COLONIAL ISSUES anymore
Amazed 15/05/2009 08:50 Comment 29
I am constantly amazed at the blatant ignorance of the postings on these topics. An opinion is just that. We are all ENTITLED to our own views. This seems to be a problem for the ANC members visiting here. For an overwhelming majority you are constantly threatened. Your leaders lack real integrity with their personal gain so obviously evident. You keep focusing on race as if we are still in the throws of race based apartheid. Apartheid is part of history and the inequalities unfortunately linger through 15 years of failed policies that have created an new form of segregation along financial boundaries. Your movement is a liberation one and like most other struggle based partys that have become majorities in other African Countries, it seems unlikely it will transform to serve the needs of all and advance the stature of South Africa on the global front.

I believe 100% in equality and I do not have a racist bone in my body but quite frankly I am SICK of always hearing from black people that every white person is a racist - Grow up and move on!! You've had 15 years ruling the country now and still you are complaining about the past. How many years do you want to go on about racism? Is there ever an end to your complaints? Stop blaming the past and start realising that its our government thats failing us, not the past!! There are even black people today who never experienmced Apartheid but still go on about how terrible the past was and that whites are racist. Please guys, wake up and smell the coffee. We are not out to get you, we just want honest and fair politicians who aren't accussed of rape, corruption and fraud. Jacob Zuma is the elected president so I will give him a fair chance and I really do want him to succeed because it is all of our country but please shut up about racism its just making us go backwards as a nation!!!
Varuscjcka Badenhorst 15/05/2009 10:45 Comment 31
anon.... I agree one hundred percent... you want to talk about racism... Affirmative action, BEE, quota systems in sport... The fact is until the ANC and their supporters get rid of that chip on their shoulder.... South Africans will never just be South Africans. It is always going to need a label of black, white, pink, blue, brown,... Two wrongs have never made a right... All that all this racism... (as BEE, Affrimative action is just racist), is never going to build the beautiful rainbow nation that the great MADIBA had in mind... he was the only true father of Africa... and the angel of South Africa... Me, my generation we are the future of this country... The fact is I was but 10 when the changes came... when South Africa celebrated its first democratic election... As children we sorted out our problems quickly... Unfortunately when you put so many different cultures together you are every now and again going to have some conflict... but the youth sorted themselves out... by the time I hit high school and all my school mates (irrespective of colour, culture) had found a mutual ground of understanding and had come to respect, even be interested, in the mutlirace and colour they were surrounded by... NOW... Well several years later and our country is being killed off with crime and corruption... our people (white, black, pink, orange, brwon, purple) do not have work, live in poverty, get killed and raped... Our infrastructure, look at Harties, Loskop, the dams are rotting as we speak (this is a countries almost most valuable asset - water), our people are still utterly uneduacated on AIDS,... And what do you hear of the ANC, she is a racist, he is a racist, yack yack yack... apartheid this apartheid that... It was a crime against human nature... but it is over... and noone will bring it back... i might be much younger than the other visitors on this site... voting is not an emotional decision people... you should vote for what you believe will make the country better... Get off your damn high horses... And build a nation instead of breaking it down... Which brings me to another point... when attacking the ANC it is not about hte fact that it is almost entirely black... It is because they have had all this time... and what have they really brought to South Africa... and to the South Africans... I am a proud South African... I love my country and all its people... but... this country will only stop crying when we truly live in equality... and our government gives a damn about everybody... not just the so-called "previuously disadvantaged"... which by the way... are after more than a decade not the victims of apartheid... but the youth... who have been victimised by the ANCs lack of wanting a truly better future for all... They just want a better future for 'Black"...
Vury Bandehorst 15/05/2009 10:53 Comment 32
Ricotta ricotta... your are not a very clever ... in fact you are quite stupid... but you could not have said it better.... AMANDLA ---- BLACK POWER... exactly so much for one nation... just comes to show... Eugene Terblanche and ANC are one in the same... with just one difference... colour... but racist throught thick and thin... YOUR country... no my friend... It our Contry... yet the supporters of ANC think it is only their country.. if your white then you must be a Brit or Aussie... it is sick... things will only be right... once we do not see black or white anymore... start truly seeing it in colour... because we are not Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, English Afrikaans, White, Dark brown, light brown or black... we are just South Africans... why do we need to be politically correct... You do not have to be a African, Indian, Caucasian.. when we all could rather be South African... but as long as the ANC rules... there will never really be equality in this country... you fools
we may be young black but we are not idiots!!! 15/05/2009 10:56 Comment 33
As a first time voter, university student and black South African I would like to encourage ur leaders, especially Helen Ziller, to focus their efforts more on plitics and less on cheap tactics to deglorify eachother in orer to earn browney points from voters. I honeslty regret voting for the DA. As a first time voter I was one of the unfortunate few blacks who deviated from the norm and voted for a non-black party. The only reason for my regret is the constant racially-driven comments made by the DA presedent against Zuma. A word of advice Ziller, focus more atteniton on promoting your own policy instead of breaking down Zuma's character. I was once a loyal DA supporter and now I have 'gone back home'. I can recognise cheap tactics when I see them... I may be younng and black but I am not an idiot! you have lost my vote in the next election...
Alli G 15/05/2009 11:11 Comment 34
You stupid people pretend to be a maturing democracy, with this kind of behaviour, I would say we're not even on our feet. As a strong leader you have got to be able to criticise and be criticised. I am sure Zuma is a very good leader, but if he had any dignity/ selfrespect, he would've stepped aside and handed over to someone else. That's what happens in a mature democracy. No making the country ungovernable threats. Get the hell out of the bush and understand that this great country is in a new/ different era. Zille has done so much for this country and her cabinet appointments might not be constitutional, however, if service delivery is the reason for her decision, allow her to proceed and repect her. At the moment, the ANC look stupid in the world's eyes, 'cause this fighting is about the W/Cape province. They should back off and let the DA rule, and if she can't sort out this mess in the province, I'm sure the people will speak out. President Zuma, I am sure we all trust that he will take us forward, but we will have to take responsibility. Oh and Malema, I think the members of the ANCYL are just plain stupid. Why would I wonna be part of a body with that thing as a leader. Something's is seriously wrong. Children wake up.
abc 15/05/2009 11:20 Comment 35
I believed it was a good thing apartheid ended and we became a democracy, but 15 years later and honestly all that I feel is changed is the white minority is now the group being persecuted! Hellen Zille is entitled to express her views, this is a democracy remember. I hope now that Jacob Zuma is president he makes South Afica a better place for all South Africans, whites included!
